Yarrow Pearl Achillea Ptarmica is a herbaceous, rhizomatous perennial native to Europe and Asia. Yarrow Pearl seeds are easy to germinate without any special treatment, and also called Sneezewort or Sneezeweed, Achillea Ptarmica has aromatic, shiny, green foliage with lance-shaped leaves which are neither deeply dissected nor fern-like in appearance. Pearl Yarrow blooms with showy, 3/4 inch across, fully-double, pompon-like, pure-white flowers that are very attractive to bees and butterflies.
Yarrow Pearl is a great perennial for mass planting, or as a long-lasting contrast flower to other perennials, and this pure-white Yarrow looks especially pretty in the garden when combined with blue delphiniums. Achillea Ptarmica seeds can be sown directly outdoors in spring or fall, once established Sneezewort tolerates summer heat and humidity, growing vigorously in poor, dry soil locations where other plants fail. Pearl Yarrow is an excellent cut and dried flower that retain a nice white color.
