Sedum Wormleaf Stonecrop Sedum Stenopetalum is a succulent, glabrous perennial plant native to western North America. Sedum Wormleaf can be started from seeds indoors or directly outdoors. Also known as a Narrow-Petaled Stonecrop and Narrow Leaf Stonecrop, this Sedum produces a dense mat of foliage with lance-shaped, linear or narrowly linear-lanceolate, or three-lobed, glossy, fleshy green leaves and clusters of lance-shaped, five-petaled bright yellow with red veins flowers. Narrow Leaf Stonecrop blooms in summer attracting bees and other pollinators.

Sedum Wormleaf Stonecrop is grown as a groundcover and ornamental foliage plant in rock gardens, stone walls, borders, patio containers and pots, and green roofs. Its drought tolerance makes it a suitable candidate for xeriscaping, where water-efficient landscaping practices are utilized. Sedum Stenopetalum seeds germinate in 2-4 weeks, and once established, Narrow-Petaled Stonecrop tolerates drought and heat preferring to grow in full sun and sandy or rocky well-draining soil.
