Palm Springs Daisy Cladanthus Arabicus is a half-hardy annual daisy native to North Africa. Palm Springs Daisy seeds can be started indoors or directly outdoors in spring, and also known as Criss-Cross and Golden Crown, this bushy, annual plant grows up to 16 inches or even taller, featuring highly aromatic, lacy and pungent, green foliage with finely divided feathery leaves, and producing masses of large, yellow daisies on soft rounded stems.
Palm Springs Daisy is a popular bedding and border plant, and can be grown in cutting gardens, pots and containers. Cladanthus Arabicus seeds have to be just pressed slightly into the soil, and Criss-Cross is a drought tolerant plant that is best grown in full sun and average, moist, but well-drained soil. Palm Springs Daisy makes a superb cut flower with a long vase-life.
