Phlox Mix Phlox Drummondii is an annual wildflower native to Texas. Phlox Mixed seeds can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, and also commonly called Annual Phlox, Drummond Phlox and Garden Phlox, Phlox Drummondii features medium-green foliage with hairy leaves and stems producing clusters of fragrant, five-lobed, tubular, flowers that can be white, red, magenta, lavender, or pink with the lighter-colored centers. The fragrant Phlox blooms attract hummingbirds and butterflies. 

Phlox Mix establishes itself easily along roadsides, in meadows and naturalized landscapes. Phlox is a popular annual flower for growing in flower beds and and borders, containers, rock gardens, butterfly and hummingbird gardens. Phlox Drummondii seeds have to be kept moist until germination, and once established Phlox is extremely adaptable to various growing conditions including dry soil.
