Cosmidium Brunette Cosmidium Burridgeanum is a very easy to grow, half-hardy annual native to Texas. Cosmidium seeds are easy to germinate, and also known as Burridge's Greenthread or Thelesperma Burridgeanum, this attractive garden annual features fine, feathery foliage and blooms with distinctive flowers that have reddish-brown centers with yellow outlines. Burridge's Greenthread blooms nonstop from June until first frost, and the showy, chocolate-scented flowers are very attractive to bees and butterflies.
Cosmidium Brunette is an excellent border plant and one of the favorite flowers for cutting gardens, and Cosmidium is also often grown in containers or mass planted in meadows. Cosmidium Burridgeanum seeds have to be slightly covered with soil, and the established Cosmidium grows best in full sun and moderately fertile, well drained soil. Cosmidium Brunette makes an excellent cut flower.
