Carnation Chabaud Orange Dianthus Caryophyllus is a long-time popular perennial native to Eurasia. Carnation Chabaud Orange seeds are easy to germinate, and this Dianthus reaches 24 inches in height forming mounds of green-blue foliage with sturdy stems that are topped with extra-large, fully-double flowers. Carnation Chabaud Orange is a unique variety with bi-colored, orange and cream flowers that have a gorgeous, sherbet-like appearance. The blooming Carnation attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

Carnation Chabaud Orange is one of the best plants for a cutting garden. Carnation is a great choice for bedding, edging or accent in containers and mixed borders. Dianthus Caryophyllus seeds have to be just slightly covered with soil. Carnation flower enjoys moist, but well-drained soil and grows best in full sun; however, the partial shade can be tolerated.
