Canna White Canna x Generalis is a tropical-looking, herbaceous perennial plant. Canna White seeds are easy to germinate if they are soaked prior planting for 24-48 hours. Commonly known as Canna Lily and Indian Shot this perennial is a short version of Canna and reaches only 30 inches in height. The emerald-green foliage with large tropical leaves and unique-looking, showy, white flowers make Canna one of the most striking flowers in a garden. Canna x Generalis blooms from late spring or early summer to frost, and despite Canna florets are short-lived, the new florets open persistently providing a continual bloom throughout the season.
Canna White is a dwarf variety of Canna that looks fabulous at the front of the border. Canna Lily can be grown in damp locations such as water banks or ponds, and is great as a container plant.
