Cactus Mix Cacti is a member of the plant family Cactaceae. It is not recommended to cover Cactus seeds, so the surface sowing has to be applied. Cactuses are succulent plants that produce leafless, spiny stems in different shapes and colors making striking appearance in a landscape. This particular Cactus Mix includes a very diverse assortment of cacti seeds such as Saguaro, Cereus, Opuntias, Golden Barrel, Parodia, Trichocereus, Mammillarias, Melocactus, Hedgehogs, Notocactus, Organ Pipes, Ferocactus, Gymnocalycium, and more.
Cactus Mix is a great addition to a garden and can be grown as a house plant. Cacti seeds need both light and warmth to germinate, so it is recommended to place the planters in a sunny window and cover them with plastic to retain moist environment. As soon as seeds germinate, the plastic can be removed gradually over a course of two or three days. The growing seedling should be watered more often than established Cacti, so spraying the seedling every few days would be appropriate. The watering can be reduced to every few weeks for a mature plant.
