Brachycome Blue Splendor Brachycome Iberidifolia is a showy annual flower that is native to Australia. Brachycome seeds can be started directly outdoors, and also known as Swan River Daisy, Brachycome Blue Splendor is a compact flowering plant with an attractive, fern-like foliage and masses of brilliant, blue daisy-like blooms. This bushy, mounded annual flower blooms profusely through the summer and into the fall. The Brachycome flowers are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies.
Brachycome Blue Splendor is perfect for containers and hanging baskets. The flower is an excellent summer plant, which is easily grown in sunny spots of a summer garden. Brachycome Iberidifolia seeds cannot be covered, because they need light to germinate, so the surface sowing has to be applied. Once established, Brachycome tolerates some drought, and likes rich, well drained soil, but it can adapt to poor soil conditions.
